Faith is a coming of age story about a South London boy who finds faith in Islam to escape gang life. He travels to Egypt to find his faith in life again but he must return to keep a commitment to his best friend’s, fatherless daughter and face the past. Faith isn’t your average ‘gang’ film, Its a feature film based on a true story. Which follows the life of a young South London boy Ash, and his journey to finding the meaning in life and discovering the religion of Islam. The script is based on the real life story of Director Ashley Belal Chin.

Ashley Belal Chin grew up in south London with his Jamaican mother and spent his youth mixed up in gang culture. He converted to Islam in 2002. The former rapper has spent the past couple of years touring the world, from the depths of Asia all the way to America, spreading his story and inspiring others. He was also the winner of Trail blazed award at Edinburgh Film Festival.
